What Is Involved in the Process?
Dr Philip Chou (Dentist) will perform an evaluation to determine whether or not you have sufficient bone necessary to secure the implant in place. If yes, he’ll take an impression that will be used to create a mould for your customised implant.
When the implant is ready to be installed in your mouth, Dr Chou will cut the gum at the insertion point so that the bone is exposed. He will then place the implant; the gums surrounding the implant are stitched to seal the incision. After the implant has embedded itself into the bone, a post is affixed to it. Lastly, Dr Chou will create a permanent tooth replacement.
