When Dr Phil opened Vital Dental Care in November 2016, the mission was simple: to flip dentistry on its head.
Because let’s face it – most people don’t exactly look forward to going to the dentist. Dr Phil wanted to change that. He dreamed of a place where people felt comfortable, cared for, and maybe even had a laugh along the way. A dental practice with heart, where the warm and fuzzies were just as important as the fillings.
Why Vital?
We chose the name Vital because oral health isn’t optional – it’s essential. A healthy mouth is linked to a healthy body, with research connecting poor oral health to conditions like diabetes and heart disease.
At Vital Dental Care, we stand for uncompromising care, honesty, and empowerment. We believe everyone deserves options and solutions that fit their life and budget – without ever compromising on quality.

Being a family-owned practice shapes everything we do. As parents, we understand the nerves kids (and adults!) can feel in the chair. That’s why our clinic is designed to feel fun, safe, and stress-free.
From celebrating birthdays with our team to swapping holiday stories with patients, our goal is to make dentistry feel human again – full of connection, kindness, and joy.

We love supporting our patients’ fundraising endeavours, such as Courtney’s Ride for Cancer or Kath’s BestLife foundation.
But we also want to do more. We believe Vital Dental Care has an opportunity to amplify positive energy, to make an impact outside our four walls. That means giving back to the communities we serve, embracing radical honesty around our environmental footprint, and holding ourselves accountable to make better decisions for the planet.
